You know the phrase "monkey see...monkey do" ? I often feel like that is what we do with our kids. We get such joy in watching them copy the silly things we teach them to do. It's amazing to me that this is where their learning starts. So in true monkey fashion, here are Alex's new tricks!
1. When we say "How big is Alex?" and follow it with "So BIG!" he raises his hands in the air.
2. He knows where his socks and shoes go, so when he finds one he tries desperately to put them on his feet.
3. He loves to clap his hands, so when we say "Yeah Alex!", he immediately starts clapping.
4. This week he has finally been pulling his self up to standing. He is always so proud of himself. He also has been saying "Hi" and this week said "Hi Dada".
