{Sophrona Ellen}

Our sweet Sophie joined us Sept. 7, 2011 at 11:09pm. She weighed 8lbs. 4oz. and was 20.5 inches long. I will write about her birth story when I post pictures from the hospital. It was so fun to finally photograph a newborn of my own. These pictures were taken over a two week period. She was so easy to photograph, it might have something to do with me being her mama.

{Last Night Pregnant}

So tonight is my last night pregnant...ever. I have so many mixed emotions. I'm not one who loves to be pregnant. In fact, I have been known to say it is a means to an end. With this being my last, I have really tried to cherish all the little quirks of pregnancy. I really haven't documented as much as I would have liked to about this pregnancy. I guess trying to run a business and take care of two active boys has been part of it. All and all, it really has been rather good. My nausea stopped at around 17 weeks and it was done. Where with both the boys it lingered the entire pregnancy. I've carried her quite a bit lower than the boys, so I have had some back pains. Root beer and crushed ice have been a staple. When food started tasting good again, the first thing that I wanted was spaghetti. Not just any spaghetti, but Spaghetti Factory spaghetti. I have stuck with my nightly bowl of ice cream.I lost eleven pounds in the first trimester, so now I weigh seven pounds more than when I started. I have really nested this pregnancy and have made lots of things for this little girl. I can't wait to meet her. My sweet friend Natalie in my ward offered to take a few pregnancy pictures for me. At first I said no, I hate having my picture taken while pregnant. I thought about it, and figured it wouldn't be a bad idea with this being my last one. She snapped the shots and I edited them. Thanks again Natalie.
