Potty Training

Due to my own laziness, I just started potty training Isaac a few weeks ago.(Thought I should get it done before the next one comes) Much to my surprise it has gone very well. The first day we had 9 accidents, but since then the # has decreased daily and now he hasn't had a #1 accident in almost 2 weeks. Now #2 is a different story. We still put him in a diaper for nap and bedtime and he ususally waits to poop until then. A few days ago he told me he needed to go #2 and went up to the bathroom to go. Before I could get up there to wipe him, he had slid off the toilet(nice skid mark left), managed to get it all over the shower curtain, his socks, the rug, his clothes and legs. What a fun mess to clean up! It did however give us something to chuckle about.

Christmas in Hawaii

We had an amazing opportunity to spend Christmas 2007 in Hawaii with Travis' Dad Ron, Stepmom Norma,Sister Megan, Brother in law Jeff, Niece Hannah and Nephew Milo. We had so much fun. We stayed at Travis' parents house in Kona, which is on the big island of Hawaii. Hawaii is paradise. We celebrated Christmas with Isaac at our house the morning we left(Dec. 20) so he would have new toys to entertain him on the plane. He did really well on such a long flight. I was a little uncomfortable being 6months pregnant. The hardest part was coming home. We were fortunate enough to miss the big snow storms at home. When we left Hawaii it was 85 degrees, when we landed in SLC it was 11 degrees. What a shock. It was a wonderful trip and we had a great time being with our family.

We went whale watching. I got a little motion sick so I stayed down below most of the time. We did see a few humpback whales.

The most fun we had was at the beach.

We went to a luau one night

We went to the black sand beach. The sea turtles come to beach here, unfortunatly there weren't any there that day.

Starting our new year!

Wow, what year 2007 was.
Isaac turned 3 and is crazy as ever. He has such a passion for learning. His current obsession is with clocks, watches, and numbers. He loves to count. He has such a mechanical mind. All he wanted for Christmas was a clock and a watch. He has also memorized The Night Before Christmas, which we read every night before bed. He is a wonderful child and continues to amaze us daily.
Travis is woking as a project manager for RR Roofing and staying busy as ever. He is a great dad and husband. He loves to take Isaac up to the mountains and go "bear hunting". He is dedicated to going to the gym and plays basketball with friends once a week. He continues to be a sports fanatic and you can always hear a sports game on at our house.
I continue to be a stay at home Mom and attempt to take care of the household. We are all so excited about 2008 and the upcoming birth of Alexander Thomas on March 31.
