Seattle Part 7 "The end of the saga"

Tutu and Papa have these great kayaks. They have foot peddles so you don't have to row. Travis took Isaac out in a double and I went alone. It was so awesome. Just a little off of the shore of their property is a little island full of seals. They are swimming all around out there. A bunch of them had just given birth, so we were able to see the babies.

Just a few in my favorite spot with two of my favorite boys...

Seattle Part 6 "A little family stroll"

One morning we decided to take a walk down to the water. The 13 acres next to Zanne and Rob's property is vacant at the moment and the owner has givent them permission to access it. There is a great little beach there. On the lady's prperty she has a little play house that was built for her grandkids. It has built in bunkbeds and fun things for kids. Isaac loved it.

Everytime I look at this picture it takes my breath away. This is truly a gorgeous part of the country.

The beach isn't smooth sand, it is made up of tiny pebbles and rocks.

Who can resists these little piggies!

Alex got a kick out of throwing the rocks in the water and watching the splash...

Seattle Part 5 "Watch out for whales"

We went out one afternoon to look for orcha whales. We were in luck and spotted some. They were a bit far away and there are laws on how close you can get to them. They really are spectacular animals.

Alex's life jacket made him a bit top heavy, it was cute to watch him toddle down the docks.

This boat is the "Protector". Zanne and Rob bought it when they were in New Zealand for the America's Cup Race. (If I haven't mentioned, my Uncle is from New Zealand)

A little family photo...
