The 4th of July

...yes, I said the 4th of July. There will be another post about the 24TH of JULY. We always have a pretty low key 4th. The kids decorated their bikes for our little ward parade and breakfast. We had a little dinner later on and did some fireworks at home.

Baseball 2011

After years of tee ball, Isaac played his first year of coach pitch. It was a really nice change of pace. His team was the Diamond Backs, or as he refers to them, the D Backs.

Fun in the dug out...

During one game Isaac's hand was hit by a ball. After that he was a bit cautious. Look how his eyes close the closer the ball gets to him.

Running the bases...

Coming home with a forced slide...because it's cool you know.

Isaac love playing the outfield near the machine....image that.

Go team!

The coveted ticket...

Snack Shack Yummies...

I had to work on the day of closing ceremonies, thank goodness for dads and camera phones.

{Two Little Fish}

I'm afraid that my two little boys have turned into two little fish. Tutu & Papa gave the boys swimming lessons for Christmas, so since January we have spent lots of time at Swim Kids Utah. The boys have more than enjoyed themselves and have learned a ton along the way. I have loved the swim kids approach to teaching kids to swim. They are one on one, fifteen minute, private lessons. Isaac had previously had swimming lessons that taught him slim to nothing . Now he is swimming the full length of the pool twice, unassisted. Alex wouldn't float on his back and he is now swimming underwater and floating on his own. Thanks Tutu & Papa.
