A Magical Christmas

We had such a magical Christmas this year. Isaac was so much fun. I think Christmas is always better with kids. They bring such an innocence and joy to Christmas. Which helps us keep the true meaning of Christmas in our hearts.

In my family, we had a tradition to open our new Christmas jammies on Christmas Eve. The kids opened them early so they could get them on at Grandma and Grandpa's house before heading home. We spent Christmas Eve with Grandpa Ron and Grandma Norma.(Trav's dad and step mom) We had a ham dinner and exchanged gifts.
When we got home, we hung our stockings and Isaac wrote a note for Santa to put with his cookies and milk.
Christmas Day in the morning!

Isaac was so spoiled this year. He loved opening his gifts, but once one was opened he wanted to play with it. We had to move him along so we could get through his gifts. He received a bike, some leapster equipment, a learning globe, a pocket watch from Trav that was specially engraved and so much more.
Alex really could have cared less. He was more enthralled with the wrapping paper. However, Isaac had picked out a piano with a mirror on it to give to Alex. It was his favorite. He just stared and stared at himself in the mirror.
Mimaw and Grumpy (Trav's mom and step dad) came over at 7am to watch the boys open their gifts.
At 9am both of our families come over for a brunch. This year, my cousin Lori's father in law suffered a major cardiac arrest and they didn't expect him to live. They live in Seattle and her father in law lives here. So they left their three kids at home and hopped a plane on Christmas Eve and crashed at our place. Even thought it wasn't under the best circumstances, we loved having them here.

That evening we went to Trav's Mom's house for Christmas dinner. It was a great day!

Ok Mandi,I love how you have your pictures arranged in groups - will you teach me how to do that please. Just leave a comment on my blog. I would greatly appreciate it. It looks really cute and a good way to post lots of pictures without making the post 20 feet long. I think your blog is really cute.
