I took these pictures the other day of Alex after his bath. I just love them. I think he looks like the little angel that he is.

5 months
Alex turned 5 months old this week. He has been doing a lot of new things. He now is rolling from front to back and back to front. He thinks his feet are as cool as his hands and thinks they taste as good too. He had oatmeal for the first time and loved it. He can't get enough. When I'm done feeding him he throws a little fit until he gets his bottle. It is so fun to see all that he is learning, but sad that he is growing up so fast.

The Witch is In!
I have been released from cub scouts! However they have put me back on the Enrichment Board, which was my calling before cub scouts. I'm glad, I like the calling. It gives me a creative outlet and I love working with the sisters in our ward. I was asked to come up with a fall center piece to teach at our super Saturday in Oct. I don't decorate for fall except for Halloween. So these are what I came up with. I had to drag my kids to several craft stores to find the right supplies and the right price. Isaac was enamored with all of the Halloween decorations. I have a feeling that Halloween will be very fun this year.

Alex has 2 teeth.
You can't tell by the first picture that Alex has been so cranky lately. Today his second tooth is breaking and he has been unbearable. His first tooth broke on Aug. 4 and here we go again. I feel so bad for him, so hopefully it will be quick.

The Zoo
Isaac has been so interested in elephants for the past few weeks. I have no idea what brought this on. He has decided that that is what he wants to be for Halloween. While Tutu was here we made a trip to the zoo. This was the best experience I have ever had at the zoo. All the animals were out and active. They were all coming right up to the glass. It was awsome to get such a close look at them all. Isaac did come away with a stuffed elephant that he has named Eddie. He carries it around everywhere and has insisted that it sleep with him. This morning when he woke up I asked him how Eddie slept. He said "Fine, Mom. But he kept getting in the way." It was so cute.

Little Helper
This weekend we got a new a/c and furnace installed. Our friend Greg from our ward did it as a side job. Isaac was completely consumed with the project. He sat there all day and watched Greg. He sat at the top of the stairs and watched the furnace go in and then followed Greg outside for the a/c installation. He wanted to know how everything worked.(My son is so mechanical). Greg was so patient with him and even let him tinker with the old unit. It is so nice to have my house feel like a meat locker. Thanks Greg!

Fabulous 4!
Isaac will be four tomorrow and I can't believe it. On Sun. we had his birthday party. Tutu decided at the last minute to fly down from Seattle and surprise Isaac for his party. She flew in Sat. night and Sun. morning gave Isaac the surprise of his life. When he saw her come around the corner he screamed "Tutu"! and jumped into her arms like a monkey. It was so cute. We appropriately had a clock themed birthday, with a digital and an analog clock cake.(Yes, he knows the difference). This was my first attempt at actually making his birthday cake. It was fun to do. Isaac had such an amazing time.
